Install AC + Content Manager
Install Assetto Corsa via Steam — it's often on sale for just a few euros, so keep an eye out. Then install Content Manager (free). Open Content Manager, go to LIVE → World Sim Series and sign in with your WSS account. The F1 2019 mod and circuits download automatically at your first race, for free.

Is Assetto Corsa mandatory?
Yes, the league runs exclusively on Assetto Corsa (PC). The game is available on Steam, often on sale. The F1 2019 ACF1 Mania mod is free.
I'm a beginner, can I still participate?
Absolutely. The league is open to all levels. Experienced drivers are here to share their passion, not to discourage newcomers. The atmosphere is friendly.
Are driving aids really disabled?
Yes — ABS, traction control, stability: all OFF. This is what makes races authentic and comparable to what real F1 drivers do. Don't panic — with 2 to 3 practice sessions of 30 min during the week, you arrive at the race with real feel for the car. Being competitive comes with the laps.
How many races per season?
The 2026 season follows the official F1 calendar with 24 Grand Prix. One race per week approximately, on Saturday at 18:00.
Why F1 2019 and not a more recent season?
Simple: the 2019 cars are an absolute joy to drive. That generation — the last before the 2022 regulation overhaul — represents the peak of aerodynamic complexity, with extreme downforce, real ERS management (deployment + recovery) and DRS. The ACF1 Mania mod is renowned in the simracing community for its faithful recreation of F1 physics on Assetto Corsa. And unlike the latest F1 2025/2026 mods which can cost €30–50, ACF1 Mania is completely free. Best of both worlds.
Can I track my lap times and progress?
Yes — the site has a WSS Standings section where drivers can record their best times on each circuit and track their progress season after season. The general standings are also available and updated in real time directly on f1sim.fr.
