Three ways to dig into the season: one driver's evolution, a head-to-head between two drivers, and an ELO-style ranking.
Driver evolution
Finishing position and cumulative points, race by race.
Cumulative pointsFinishing position
Head-to-head comparator
Two drivers, every race they both started.
VS
ELO ranking
A performance score that rises or falls based on the level of the opponents beaten — more telling than a raw points total on a grid of varying size.
Method: every driver starts at 1500. In each race, every pair of non-absent drivers is virtually matched up (classified beats classified by position; DNF beats DSQ; DNS excluded), and ratings update with the standard ELO formula (K=6). It's a fun indicator, not a hard truth over 13 races.
